Disposable Endo Linear Cutter Stapler & Reloads
The endoscopic linear cutter stapler is a surgical instrument used in minimally invasive surgery (endoscopic surgery) to cut and staple tissue simultaneously. It is commonly used in procedures such as gastrointestinal surgeries, thoracic surgeries, and bariatric surgeries.
The primary function of an endoscopic linear cutter stapler is to cut tissue and simultaneously staple the cut ends together. This allows surgeons to perform procedures with reduced bleeding and a lower risk of leakage compared to traditional suturing techniques.
Endoscopic linear cutter staplers are designed to be inserted through small incisions or natural body openings, such as the mouth or anus, into the body cavity where the surgery is being performed. They consist of a long, narrow tube with a handle at one end for the surgeon to manipulate and a cutting and stapling mechanism at the other end.
The cutting and stapling mechanism typically consists of a cartridge containing rows of surgical staples and a blade that cuts between the rows of staples. When the surgeon activates the device, the blade cuts the tissue while simultaneously firing the staples to secure the cut ends together. This creates a secure closure of the tissue.
